As summer begins, Project E brings exciting news—our fundraising efforts have successfully achieved HKD 70 million, reaching the 40% milestone and bringing us closer to our ultimate target of HKD 180 million! Chung Chi College sincerely thanks every donor for their generous support. Each contribution reinforces the College’s educational mission and lights the way forward for Chung Chi-ers and our future students!
On the construction front, the demolition of the remaining structure of Staff Quarters Block E and the modification of the hoarding were completed in November 2024. Excavation, lateral support installation, and the diversion of underground utilities began in December. The contractor will continue to work on the lateral support over the coming months and aims to start the piling work by mid-2025.
